Abolish triple talaq, polygamy, halala marriages (IMSD launch, Mumbai, December 2016)

Indian Muslims for Secular Democracy (IMSD) was launched following a two-day National Convention held in Mumbai on December 17-18, 2016. At the press conference held on December 19 to announce its birth, IMSD’s stand on the practice of triple talaq (instant divorce), polygamy and halala among Indian Muslims were in particular highlighted.
