Abdullahi Ahmed An-Na’im is a Sudanese-born Islamic scholar who currently lives in the United States and teaches at Emory University. Author of Islam and Human Rights among other books, An-Naim argues that all Shariah Laws must be reviewed to ensure compliance with modern human rights values.
